What is alphanumeric paging?
Alphanumeric paging is also known as text messaging. Every call is answered live with your company name. Our Customer Service Representative takes a complete message with name, telephone number, and what the call is regarding. A text message is paged to you immediately, along with the time and date of each page. This method saves our clients immensely on unnecessary cell phone charges. Alphanumeric Dispatch provides faster, more efficient communications.

Answering services benefit companies in many ways. Answering services are cost effective means of outsourcing your telecommunications needs. Yes, although we are not a pager company, we do have access and can acquire pagers for our clients.

How can I get started?
Getting started is easy. To get started, we will need some information about you, your company, and your preferences for service. This allows PCN to customize your service. You can either visit our Contact Us page and provide us this information, or call a PCN sales representative. From this point, PCN can work with you to develop a service plan and answer any questions you may have.

How long does it take to set up my service?
Service setup time varies depending on the type of service. Messaging accounts can be activated in as little as one business day. Other services require more programming and tend to take longer to set up. Consult with a PCN representative to obtain a more accurate estimate for the setup time required to meet your specific needs.

How will I get my messages?
Message delivery varies per account. You have the option of voice mail, paging, alphanumeric paging, email, and fax as methods of delivery. You choose what is most convenient for your business.

What is the maximum length of each message?
Voice mail accounts have a capacity for messages up to 4 minutes long per voice box. Alphanumeric paging can deliver messages with up to 150 characters.

How long does it take to receive my message?
Voice messages and pages are sent immediately and generally arrive in less than 1 minute. Other methods of delivery can take longer. Time of delivery is dependent upon what method is used to send the message.

Once my account is set up, can I change my instructions?
Absolutely! The customized service is for the life of your account. You can make changes to the instructions or script the Customer Service Representatives use to service your calls at anytime. This service is provided at no additional charge. The business world is constantly changing, that is why we provide customized service to help you change with the times. Simply call our Client Care Department and they will handle any needs you have in an efficient manner.

Will my callers be put on hold by a recording?
Our phone lines are answered by well-trained, LIVE Customer Service Representatives. Our average answer time is 2 rings. If the call reaches four rings, a Customized Auto Answer informs the caller they have the correct number and that the next available operator will take their call.

When will I receive my first bill?
Billing is done based on a set billing cycle at PCN. The arrival of your first bill is dependent upon when you activate your service in conjunction with the current billing cycle.

Will I be billed per call, or per minute?
Billing methods are devised based upon the service and the information in your customer agreement. This information is decided during a consultation and is variable. PCN works to create the most effective and efficient plan to meet your needs. For this reason, each account varies.

Can I be billed on my credit card each month?
Yes, you can be billed on your credit card each month. This method of payment is convenient and is easy to setup. Simply call a PCN representative to have this payment plan implemented.
